{"id":80,"date":"2010-05-25T09:43:00","date_gmt":"2010-05-25T09:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.goatsurfer.com\/retromtb\/?p=79"},"modified":"2012-04-18T11:42:51","modified_gmt":"2012-04-18T11:42:51","slug":"sunday-ride-salcey-forest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/goatsurfer.com\/retromtb\/?p=80","title":{"rendered":"Sunday Ride @ Salcey Forest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">Due to previously reported &#8216;issues&#8217; bike riding hasn&#8217;t featured on my agenda for some time but now things have changed I intend to get out and &#8216;do a bit&#8217; again. <\/span><br style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" \/><br style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">I figured the best way for this was to start gentle so I hooked up with fellow RetroBiker GT-Steve for a few laps of <\/span><a style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.forestry.gov.uk\/salceyforest\">Salcey Forest<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\"> ) which was probably the last time I rode a bike <\/span><a style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" href=\"http:\/\/retromtb.goatsurfer.com\/blog\/_archives\/2010\/3\/8\/4474915.html\">back at the start of March<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">). <\/span><br style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" \/><br style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\" \/><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;\">It was the start of a VERY hot day for the UK so we started the ride at 10am and did 17.674 miles of hot dusty trails.
